Gardein 7-Grain Chik'n Tenders Review

As you know, here at The Eco-Green Collective we like to review vegan food products. This is particularly important for me (Natalie) because I am still a newbie learning and understanding all the plant-based and vegan diets. I love chicken, so I decided this was something good for starting to make vegan or vegetarian meals. Thus, this post is a complete review of the Gardein 7-Grain Chik'n Tenders.

Rachel introduced me to this product and I remember when we started working together how she would quickly go to Publix at lunchtime and buy a bag, throw it at the toaster oven and ta-da! They smelled delicious! Honestly, I refused to believe that wasn't real chicken.

Putting my skepticism aside, I decided to give it a try on my own, so let's review this bad boy, shall we?

Flavor

Not only are they super easy to cook...they are delicious! They are coated with a range of grains that make them very crispy and tender. It tastes like real chicken and the texture is really good. They are nice by themselves or with a sauce you prefer. For me, I enjoy it best with mayo-ketchup (if you're Puerto Rican you will get this) or ranch sauce. You can prepare them on a microwave, oven, air fryer or toaster oven and it does not take longer than 20 minutes.

It was a game-changer for preparing fast lunches like wraps and tacos!

Believe me when I tell you that I did not miss chicken at all when buying this at the supermarket. Overall, Gardein 7-Grain Chik'n Tenders are a healthy vegan option that anyone can enjoy and that is very versatile, as it goes well in pretty much anything. If you are like me and don't have a lot of patience cooking or preparing lunch for work, this is a great option for you.
