Hi, Collective!
Phew, it feels like its been so long since I have been able to sit down and type out a post for you! The past few weeks have been nuts, which I am sure so many of you are dealing with right now. Which is why I wanted to bring you a few quick and easy smoothie ideas for when you are either on the go or to prepare for a healthier 2022!
Smoothies are great because you can literally put anything in them. These recipes have been created with simplicity in mind. Therefore, there aren't crazy protein powders or weird ingredients to scour the store for. All of these variations have easy and accessible ingredients, that you might have on hand right now!
Smoothie Info.
Now the ingredients need to be adjust based on the amount that you make. I fill up one Nutribullet cup (22 oz). So, when I make my smoothies, I add a perfect amount to blend in this size. These recipes can be adjusted to your liking by eliminating or adding some of the ingredients.
For the yogurt I like to use the Cultured Coconut Milk Vanilla, from Trader Joes. It has a great balance of that sweet but sour(ish) yogurt taste. It also makes the smoothie so creamy and delightful.
If you need a bit more sweetness than the yogurt, milk and fruit provide, I would recommend adding a dash of agave, but honestly I personally don't need it.
1. Strawberries n' Kreme
The first smoothie is "Strawberries n' Kreme". This is my all time favorite go-to recipe for a busy morning or if I have a small sweet tooth after dinner. This recipe can be made with as little as 3 ingredients! Do you remember the Creme Savers candy? This taste just like the strawberry one, and it's so yummy!
Ingredients (makes ~ 220z)
~ 1 C frozen strawberries
1 vegan 6 oz vanilla yogurt
~ 1/2 C oat milk (or plant milk of choice)
agave *optional*
Procedures:
Pour entire vegan yogurt into blender cup.
Fill the blender cup with frozen strawberries to the top.
Pour in oat milk - fill cup to the top, add agave (if using).
Blend very well and enjoy!

2. Peaches n' Kreme
I had this Peaches n' Kreme smoothie this morning! This one is veryyyy similar to the strawberry smoothies - however you may need to alter the amount of peaches you use to ensure it gets thick enough. I put one cup, but you can add more or less depending on the texture you want. Ironically, this smoothie tastes like the other Creme Savers candy .. even though the candy is orange flavored.
Ingredients (makes ~ 220z)
~ 1 C frozen peaches
1 vegan 6 oz vanilla yogurt
~ 1/2 C oat milk (or plant milk of choice)
agave *optional*
Procedures:
Pour entire vegan yogurt into blender cup.
Fill the blender cup with frozen peaches to the top.
Pour in oat milk - fill cup to the top, add agave (if using).
Blend very well and enjoy!

3. Pina Colada Kreme
Now, obviously there isn't a third Creme Savers flavor, but I had to add this recipe in! This smoothie is summertime in a cup! You get all the delicious aspects of a Pina colada but without the booze (win-win)! This recipe is pretty sweet with the coconut milk and pineapples, but again feel free to add agave if you have a sweet tooth!
Ingredients (makes ~ 220z)
1 C frozen pineapple
1 vegan 6 oz vanilla yogurt
1/2 C coconut milk (or plant milk of choice)
2 tbs.unsweetened coconut shreds
agave *optional*
Procedures:
Pour entire vegan yogurt into blender cup.
Fill the blender cup with frozen pineapples to the top.
Pour in coconut milk - fill cup to the top and add coconut shreds.
Blend very well and enjoy!
